A slow clumsy project involving me
putting everything I've learned about
the OPI into one place.

What is the OPI?

Wikipedia entry:
"An Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) is a standardized, global assessment of functional speaking ability. Taking the form of a conversation between the tester and test-taker, the test measures how well a person speaks a language by assessing their performance of a range of language tasks against specified criteria."

The most common form of the test is over the phone, but computer OPIs (OPIc) are possible in many common languages. (I've done both many times -- the phone sucks because if you're unlucky, the proctor's voice quality might be very low, and personally, my listening skills drop dramatically when I can't see the speaker's face ㅠㅠ. The OPIc is done with a robot voice with a robot proctor asking prewritten questions based on an interest survey you take, and it's overall very uncanny.)

How is the OPI scored?
