Introduction:
Your tester may ask to do a role play at multiple points in the interview as skill check-ins. They come in many forms and are designed to be dynamic! Here are some roleplay scenarios you mights run into, like 질문하기 (questions), 상황 설명 및 요청 (request assistance), 문제 파악 및 해결 (problem solving), and 양해 및 부탁 (ask favor).

꿀팁 (Some tips and tricks for this section!):

Your tester may close out your test with one last roleplay. If it involves more complicated tasks such as explaining a bad situation and making requests, solving a problem, or asking for forgiveness, your tester is likely probing your skills to see if you should be placed in Superior or Advanced. So the more natural you can make these sections, the better!

In the case of making requests, since you will likely be talking with a "stranger," you should frame your words very politely and utilize the -으시 honorific almost constantly. Situations where you've lost something and must describe it are common, so using a lot of detail in these answers is preferable. In the end, know a lot of everyday vocabulary that can be used in a variety of situations is important, which can really only be gained through experience and practice.

예시 (Example answer):

안녕하세요. 서울 택시 회사죠? 다름이 아니라 분실한 물건이 있어서 연락드렸는데요.

0123번 택시를 타고 한 20분 전쯤 안암역 1번출구 앞에서 내렸는데요. 정신없이 내리다가 아무래도 뒷좌석에 가방을 두고 내린 것 같거든요. 분실한 가방은 네모난 흰색 에코백이고요. 가방 앞에 스누피 그림이 그려져 있고 영어로 뉴옥시티라고 쓰여 있어요.

혹시 택시 기사님께 지금 바로 연락해 주실 수 있으세요? 그리고 번거로우시겠지만 기사님께서 안암역 앞으로 다시 와 주실 수 있으실까요? 언제쯤 오실 수 있는지도 확인해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.

그게 안 되면 제가 택시 회사로 찾으러 가는 것도 괜찮을 거 같아요. 뭐든 빨리 찾을 수 있는 방법으로 부탁 좀 드릴게요.

그럼 택시 기사님께 연락 오는 대로 바로 연락 좀 해 주실 수 있으세요? 부탁드립니다.
